As the Design Director of books at America’s Test Kitchen, I have lead a team of designers and art directors to completely revolutionize the book design program throughout the past seven years. I have shifted our books from templated compilations to thoughtful explorations of cultural cuisines, in depth studies on technique, gift worthy packages, and much more.

It all begins with a strong vision—achieved by research, planning, and creating clear photography guides. The vision comes to life through strong leadership in the studio. From planning to execution, I lead my teams in creating beautiful images that communicate exactly what we set out to say.

A harmoniously designed digital product can make the difference between a single interaction and habitual engagement. The combination of sound UX and strong digital content can create an experience that the user returns to and relies on. My strong understanding of the digital design world in support of our unmatched content has been forged through years of working within these two worlds.

I am passionate about good design. Throughout my career, I have opened myself up to learning areas of design far outside of nine to five. Highly self motivated, I have created a portfolio of work that spans from my areas of expertise to completely novice industries that I have learned to embrace. No matter the subject, clear communication and high esthetics remain throughout.
